Studio Dan

We are looking for singers for a musical theater production/opera by Studio Dan in collaboration with Dschungel Wien, featuring a libretto by Barbi Marković. We welcome applications from people of all gender identities. This call for auditions is also specifically directed at BIPoC and people with migration backgrounds.

We are looking for young people with well-trained and highly flexible voices who also possess strong acting skills. Classical opera voices are just as welcome as unconventional pop and jazz voices. Casting, rehearsals, and performances will take place in Vienna. Stage age: 17–20 years (Role: Teenager)

• Casting date: July 7, 2026
• Preliminary rehearsal dates (research): First week of December 2026
• Production period (rehearsals & 4 performances): March 8 – April 12, 2027

Compensation: €200 per 6-hour rehearsal day plus €300 performance fee per show. Service contract (Werkvertrag) or employment possible.
