Elliott Sharp, major player of the New York downtown scene, guitarist and composer, played in Vienna in November 2011, invited by the Jeunesse Vienna within his artist-in-residency at the Porgy & Bess. In collaboration with the Viennese bigband-chamber-orchester STUDIO DAN and it’s artistic director Daniel Riegler, the commissioned piece “In the Pelagic Zone” was premiered. Andreas Felber is going to present the live recording of the concert.
