Studio Dan

With sound artist Isabella Forciniti and trombonist Matthias Muche, Studio Dan brings two of the most exciting voices on the European creative scene to the stage. Together, they explore the dynamics of diverse artistic practices, social systems, and musical concepts. The archaic power of the trombone meets the digital complexity of the computer; solo meets ensemble; delicate nuances and loud basses... At the heart of this evening is a musical experiment on collaboration: How does the ensemble—a “biotope” that has grown organically and been finely balanced over the years—react to impulsive external interventions? And conversely: What power do the disruptors draw from the collective?
