Sonnensittich
Film & Music
Sonnensittich is a 60-minute short film program for young audiences. It focuses on the interplay between image and sound, as well as various forms of film music.
Through a selection of historical and contemporary short films, the program explores different musical approaches to the medium of film.The centerpiece is the animated film “Sonnensittich,” newly developed for the project by Fekry Helal and Ralph Mothwurf—the story of an outsider that shows how first impressions can be deceiving.
