This production is an organic collection of songs developed over two years by composers and arrangers from the ranks of Studio Dan – a band well-known for stretching out in every sense of the word – in cooperation with the imaginative and flexible singer Nika Zach. A shared penchant for detailed arrangement and straying from the beaten path provides common ground and makes for a seamless partnership of singer and band. This programm was presented at the Jazzfestival Berlin and was recorded for broadcasting in Germany and Austria.
