To mark our 20th anniversary, we're doing the obvious: throwing a party. And not just anywhere – at Porgy & Bess, our musical home base since day one. For one night only, we’ll transform the entire venue into a walk-through installation. From the street-level bar to the cargo elevator and both stages – every corner will come alive, sonically and visually, beautifully and bizarrely.

We’ll showcase highlights from two decades of Studio Dan – from Planet Globokar, How Is Your Bird?, ZONK!?!!, to brand-new works. Expect music by Anthony Braxton, John Cage, Vinko Globokar, Michael Gordon, George Lewis, Veronika Mayer, Pauline Oliveros, Oxana Omelchuk, Julia Purgina, Steve Reich, Christof Ressi, Daniel and Leo Riegler, James Tenney, Anton von Webern, Clemens Wenger, Frank Zappa, and many more. Add to that some delightfully absurd side acts: a spring onion tasting, solo concerts in the freight elevator, or massages accompanied by dissonance therapy.
