As part of the “Graz plays Steve Reich” series, Studio Dan brings two of the American composer’s most influential works to the stage. Different Trains combines a string quartet and tape recording into a harrowing journey through the 20th century—navigating between childhood memories and deportation trains. City Life distills the noise, rhythm, and pulse of urban life into music. A project by Studio Percussion Graz, with whom we share a long-standing artistic friendship.
