Studio Dan

With Songs of the Speechless, Studio Dan launches its twentieth anniversary season with a new artistic intervention. Conceived in response to a moment of global upheaval, the project addresses those situations when words fail us — yet something must still be said.

This growing collection of miniatures enables the ensemble to raise its voice in many different contexts: before and after concerts, on and off stage, in public and digital spaces alike.

With works by Ingrid Laubrock, Myra Melford, Kristin Norderval, Gerald Resch, Daniel Riegler, Manos Tsangaris, and Clemens Wenger.
