Studio Dan

As a foretaste of the ZONK!?!! weekend from September 15-18, the Studio Dan Trio plays in the front yard of the Radio Orange office at Gaussplatz, of course in beautiful Brigittenau.

The trio consisting of Clemens Salesny, Daniel Riegler and Michael Tiefenbacher explores on the one hand the versatile combinatorics of their instruments - besides saxophone, trombone and Fender Rhodes also bass clarinet and tenor horn - and on the other hand the kind of comprovisation Anthony Braxton has added to the canon of contemporary music; i.e. the musical sphere between free improvisation and all kinds of composed music. At Gaussplatz the trio shows its evocative side and plays for good weather, which the Studio Dan collective wishes for the realization of its ZONK!?!! concerts outdoors.
