And just as George Lewis says about his piece As We May Feel, that its “associative assemblage only fully unfolds in the encounter with the listener, whereby the activity of listening and that of composing flow into one another,” and Wolfgang Mitterer of “musical temperature” When he describes the magic of making music, Tempest always returns to the self-contained circle that creates and receives.
