Studio Dan

We go on tour and bring "our music" to Canada and America. The program includes pieces by Christoph Walder, Daniel Riegler, Mirela Ivičević, Caitlin Tinyalligator Smith, Johannes Kreidler, Christian Schiller, Oxana Omelchuk, George Lewis, Anthony Braxton and John Zorn.

The last trimester of the year 2017 and thus the last part of our chapter '17 we have ushered in with “Music for 4”. On a late-night evening in the magical Töpfelhaus, the ZMV (center for music education) in Penzing gathered an exceptionally curious audience as part of its concert series. A great start!

Lots of beautiful stuff happend in the first half of this year. Now we're looking ahead to all that's coming our way.

Around 50,000 visitors have enjoyed the "Klanglicht" at the weekend in Graz. Buildings, streets or squares were dipped into colorful colors, and light sculptures grew out of the ground with gentle music.

After a very exciting season 2016, we are now opening up the next chapter and look forward to many concerts, new programs and great concert tours.

We had a very exciting time performing “Planet Globokar” nine times in Hamburg at KinderKinder Festival at Kampnagel and in Vienna at WienModern at Dschungel.

Just before we are going to present our exciting program of the following saison, we would like to remember our collaboration

“Decadence” was premiered in 2011 and published on CD in 2012. The focus is on the music of Clemens Wenger and Daniel Riegler and the ensemble Studio Dan in his most opulent form

We performed our children’s concert around Austria in November- here’s a report on our show from the TV station in Mürz (German)

Studio Dan’s CD project with Agnes Heginger, Eine Art Chansons, comes out in December. This record is an epic feat- all 72 of composer Friedrich Cerha’s songs
